The Story
A Pladge To The Earth.
A pledge to the Earth
I am compelled to admit I have experienced loss.
I had overlooked, wasted and forgot the sacredness of nature. Which is also my own sacred nature.
I had lost the ability to feel the Earth. A downhearted separateness.
I lost touch of my primitive senses and felt the blank void in myself.
I am compelled to admit that travelling inwards and outwards has made me re-learned the feel of the unity of life of all things.
I haven´t seen places, I´ve felt places.
I haven´t met people, I´ve sensed people.
Holding nothing back: I´ve slowly let life and nature to write all over me.
I have been inspired. Aware with curiosity and love
A slow dawning of this innate sacredness of nature,
which is also my own sacred nature.
I am compelled to make a promise.
To honour and trust my wild human being.
A promise to respect the patterns of Africa´s true colours and spirit.
To be guided by the simplicity and wisdom of nature.
This is my pledge:
To take me, and any other fellow human travellers
to reclaim our sense of relatedness with the Earth.
